At present, the domestic orthopedic surgery for hallux valgus osteotomy is open surgery mainly, and there is no special surgical tool. With the development of minimally invasive surgery for the foot and ankle, more accurate guiding instruments are needed to assist doctors to complete the hallux valgus osteotomy. This trajectory system which was developed by Keenman can fill a gap in surgical tool of minimally invasive hallux valgus osteotomy and helps achieve correction and fixation placement using a percutaneous approach.
